Last weekend, I was lucky enough to collaborate with Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Lake Tahoe for a weekend girl's trip. It was nice and relaxing, which was everything we wanted. We had a lake-view room with a balcony which was amazing to wake up to in the morning. I can't lie, we were definitely freezing our butts off, but the view was worth it haha. The hotel is also really close to several restaurants which was perfect for us!
After we checked in, we went straight for dinner because we were starving. We were both thinking of Italian food, and found the PERFECT spot that satisfied out cravings. We stopped by Izabella Ristorante Italiano and ordered way too much food as always. My favorite was their garlic bread, carbonara, and their Rigatoni Paisano. All the portions were huge, so we packed it to go and ate it for lunch on Sunday! STILL delicious btw.
We also walked around, and just chilled in the south Lake Tahoe area. There was a good amount of snowfall from the weekend before, so skiing/snowboarding conditions were pretty good. We also just drove to random spots and walked through the snow which is totally unlike us but we see snow like once a year...so carpe diem!
Overall, we had a short but extremely fun and chill weekend in Tahoe. Would definitely recommend that Italian restaurant, you can't miss it! I'm 85% thinking of going back just for that rigatoni. Not kidding either...
