  • NEW FAVORITE SPOTS FOR LUNCH & DINNER | EAST BAY

    Hi guys!

Today I wanted to share a list of places I recently ate at and looooved. I hope you guys will find this list helpful for those days that you just can't figure out what to eat.

I also wrote another list a while back with 6 other places to eat as well if you want more options! Check it out here!

    1. Southie in Oakland -  I love the sandwiches here! Their menu isn't huge, but everything on their menu sounds so delicious. My favorite is the fried pork belly sandwich, simply because I love pork belly on everything. One thing to keep in mind is the restaurant has different menu items on different days, or even just for lunch vs. dinner!

    2. Broderick in Walnut Creek - This place serves up a mean twist to American foods such as fries, burgers, etc. My favorite here are the vietnamese styled fries (pictured below)! You just HAVE to try them. They are SO BOMB. The fries have shreds of this sweet and juicy pork in it that just tastes amazing together with the fries.

    3. Tigerlily in Berkeley - This place is perfect for brunch. The food here gives a new California twist to Indian and Asian foods! My favorite here is the Tikka Masala Chicken & Waffle. It is so so good! The sauce for the chicken mixed with syrup is just simply amazing.

    4. True Food Kitchen in Walnut Creek - This is a chain restaurant and I think they have locations throughout California. I love that everything here is organic or vegan, so it's super healthy. Not to meantion....they have an amazing BURGER. I absolutely love it! Read more about this place on my other blog post here.

    5.  The Peasant's Courtyard in Alamo - Honestly I am just gonna say that the only thing I will probably ever get here is the PATTY MELT. Not because nothing else is good, but simply because the patty melt is so good, I won't ever have a chance to order anything else.

    6. Mixed Grain in Walnut Creek - This is a small Korean restaurant with really good food and it's not too expensive either. I love their short ribs and kimchi stew here!
