  • LONG WEEKEND IN STOCKHOLM | TRAVEL DIARY

    Hey guys!

We got back from Stockholm a while back now but I have to say this is my FAVORITE city!

I love love love everything about Stockholm. It's such a quaint little city with tons of things to see and do, and the food here is amaaaazing. Honestly guys, food is the way to my heart and Stockholm - you stole it.

Another plus is everyone here speaks perfect English, so there is no language barrier!

    WHERE WE STAYED

Radisson Blu Waterfront - I love this hotel! It's really modern and clean with great amenities. The bathroom floors are HEATED - perfect for cold days (since it was pretty cold when we went!) They have a restaurant and bar right downstairs and the location is also great. It is literally across the street from the train station so it's super convenient. Everything is pretty much walking distance but you can also take the train or a taxi.

    WHAT WE DID

The Royal Palace - Everything in here is so nice. You really get to see how the royal family lived and also what they do with the palace now. The view is also amazing from the bridge right across the palace.

Gamla Stan - This is the old town part of Stockholm. It's really cute and very picture-esque. This is where you see their most famous colorful houses/restaurants in Stortorget Square.

City Hall - This was closed when we were there, but if you go during the summer or spring, you get to climb the stairs in city hall to get a killer view of the city. But for us, we only got to enjoy the view from the ground. womp womp...

The Swedish History Museum - We came here to see the Viking's history after we fell in love with the TV show "Vikings." If you watch that show, you'd love it here! Here we are just chillin at the museum!

Shopping - there are a lot of stores here, but not much that we don't already have in the U.S. However, all the stores seem to have a home department we don't have, like Zara Home, H&M home, etc. I thought they all had really nice things so it's worth checking out.

    WHERE WE ATE

We ate a ton of good food in Stockholm, but read about my favorites on my blog here!

From restaurants to coffee shops, everything here has such nice decor and everyone is super friendly. Stockholm is a foodie heaven and a really picture-esque city for all you instagrammers out there.

Sushi from Michelin starred restaurant Sushi Sho - find out what to get on my other post here!

I absolutely love Stockholm and will definitely have to go back some day to get more grub!
